The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting every one of us. With the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation developing quickly, we believe it’s important to be transparent about how vData is responding to the outbreak. Our philosophy as a business is to approach this situation with empathy and urgency.
As rates of new infections continue to grow in many places, we’re taking additional steps to protect our team members and of the communities we serve, including our customers, partners, prospects, and candidates – this is the top priority of vData.
Virtual Meeting & Collaboration Tool
One of those lessons is that the most effective way to minimize risk of the virus’s transmission is to reduce density and maximize social distance. With this in mind, vData is highly recommending that all travel for work to customers’ or partners’ office locations, and visitation by our customers or partners to vData’s office location to be minimised at this time. vData’s employees are encouraged to hold meetings and events virtually with our customers or partners. If there is strong request for such meetings and events be held in the physical presence of our employees, they will need to seek permission from vData Management.
We wanted to make you aware of the tool that vData has in place to continue to serve you during this uncertain critical time and provide some peace of mind. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the tool. As always, we welcome your calls too. When requested, our sales, project or support team member can schedule a virtual meeting with you by utilise video and screen sharing via workstation as well as mobility devices.
vData would like to seek your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. We assure you that our commitment to you remains strong and focused and we will continue to serve you with the personal attention you are used to.
In addition to taking the precautions above, we are keeping empathy top of mind. It is a stressful time for our communities around the world, and so we want to do everything we can to minimize panic and maximize safety.
